About Creative Business Skills and Visual Thinking – Picture This!
Thoughts on Visual Thinking
“The most common misconception I meet when it comes to visual thinking, is that it’s about using less words and more illustration and drawing.
Visual thinking is not illustration! Visual thinking does not mean replacing the word “car” with a drawing of a car. And being a good visual thinker has absolutely nothing to do with your ability to draw.
You can be a visual thinker and only use words. In some cases you can use visual thinking in a dialogue without even putting anything on paper. It just requires more practice and thus, the best way to learn and practice visual thinking involves some amount of putting things on paper. …
(Visual Thinking) … allows our mind to process the different pieces of information in a non-linear way.”
So here’s one for you – the set of Creative Business Skills from design Thinking methodology, explained using words, lines, colors and spaces between them.
About Design Thinking methodology
It’s a methodology that helps you actualise your ideas step by step, exploring and combining innovative ideas with feasible and viable business solutions.
It is a HUMAN-centred, SOLUTION-focused and ACTION-oriented process of finding the best solution and delivering valuable service to our client.
Design Thinking is not a self-sufficient process, it’s a method of developing and designing a service, product or process, that connects your skills with your audience’s needs, and finding out the feasible and viable form or business model, together with building of communication channels.
Also, this process connects your product (service) development with your marketing strategy, in this process they grow together, showing congruent and authentic image of your business.
Design Thinking is a simple way to introduce the spirit of creativity and innovation in your life and business, enabling you in becoming a open and creative leader without even considering yourself being an artisticly creative person.
Because I firmly believe that good marketing grows through product (service) development, I often find myself consulting and coaching in both. We all need to be connected to our audiences from the first scratch we make in our business, and the time, when we are not-so-well-known, is the best for trying out various tactics, strategies and business models. At the same time, we’re finding out more and bonding deeper with our present and future audience.
Which platform to choose – depends on your business, and about where your audience is. On each one, you need to post your native content regularly. The truth is that most people surf through all platforms, but they engage in them differently. It depends on the voice of the platform – in it’s funny and informal, academic content won’t be much appreciated.
For me, LinkedIn is my favourite one, and I was happy to come across LinkedIn Local community and organise LinkedIn Local Zagreb meetups.
Način raščlambe ideje prezentiran modulima tečaja Tvoja odlična ideja izuzetno je dobar u sagledavanju svih segmenata važnih u realizaciji same ideje.
